Full and Part Time Carers/Personal Assistants Required In Worthing Area

We have an exciting opportunity for a carer to assist and support a fun loving and intelligent woman, who has a neurological condition, in attending the University of Winchester, where she is studying English Literature with Creative Writing.

During term time she will be living in halls of residence in Winchester. During student holidays and weekends she will spend time at her family home in Worthing.

This role will include providing personal care, medication administration, physiotherapy, hydrotherapy, domestic tasks (including cooking and cleaning), social support, and supporting attendance at university.

About You:

  • You must be flexible in your thoughts, adaptable to any situation, self-motivated, and reliable. A sense of humour and fun-loving outlook on life is a must
  • A manual driving licence is preferred but not essential.
  • You must be prepared to travel to Winchester to enable attendance at Uni. (Travel expenses will be paid).
  • Previous experience with medication and personal care would be advantageous; but not essential as full specialist training will be given.

Shift Pattern:

  • 12 hour day shifts and 12 hour waking night shifts in Worthing
  • 16 hour day with 8 hour sleepover (24 hour shift) when needed and whilst at University in Winchester.
  • Part Time Team members must be able to work 24 hours per week

Rate of pay:

  • £10.00 per hour days and waking nights, and £60.00 per sleepover
  • Travel costs (mileage/ train ticket) will be paid for travel from Worthing when the lady is at University in Winchester.
